Instagram With Me

  • It’s really starting to feel like summer, so had to make a S’Mores Dessert Board. Let’s swim all day, grill out and finish with S’mores for dessert. I’ve always loved them and still do, and now creating new S’mores options with my family. My favorite is white chocolate with blackberries. Our daughter loves adding bacon to a traditional S’more, hubby is traditional all the way, but friends always go to the Reese’s and fudge stripe cookie when they come over. I just love throwing it all on a board for us to try different combos. What is your favorite?   • Headed to the movies, so had to make a movie board before we go see @mamovie2019 . Have you seen it, you must! We are so proud of you @mckaleym and can’t wait to see you in it. On the board we have @cypressgrovers Pacific remix, @jasperhillfarm blue cheese, @laurachenel goat Brie and suttocenere truffle cheese and of course a honey comb from @savannahbeeco .   • Ready, Set, CINCO! It’s one of my favorite days of the year and not because it’s my birthday, but because of the margaritas, friends getting together, margaritas, great food and margaritas 😉 For this board I made my spicy shrimp bites and salsa verde chicken tostadas (bite size) both recipes on my website. I made @lalalunchbox ‘s mango salsa and my husbands salsa and guacamole while he made his margaritas. I think a fair trade? Hoja Santo goat cheese and Ancho Chile Caciotta from @mozzco and a 3 chili Gouda to dig in to, but I’m headed first to the churros!! I’ll add more to my stories and label everything for you.   • Run for the Roses...The Kentucky Derby is next weekend and if you are headed to a Derby party don’t forget your Derby Board. We have Mint Julep mini cupcakes I made and tasted a few too many 😉 with @woodfordreserve in the cake and frosting! the recipe is from @ifyougiveablondeakitchen . Also @legourmetbaking made me these amazing rose shortbread cookies, a derby party needs roses and mint juleps right? Pimento cheese is a must, in the middle, surrounded by ham, @tillamook Cheddar cheese and pickles. A garlic Gouda and @cypressgrovers humbolt fog with @savannahbeeco honey comb. I’m always excited for the first Saturday in May to watch the race, but really I love the outfits and hats!
