Chocolate Orange Peel Oatmeal Bowl

Serving size 3-4
1/2 cup gluten free rolled oats
3/4 cup of almond milk
1 Tablespoon of cacao powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1-2 teaspoon of maple syrup (depending on sweetness level you want)
1/2 teaspoon of pink salt
zest of 1 small orange
2 teaspoon of chia seeds
1/4 cup of toasted coconut
large spoonful of creamy organic peanut butter
Add oats, cacao powder, vanilla, maple syrup, pink salt, a little of the orange peel and almond milk, bring to a boil. Once it comes to a boil, add your top and simmer for 10 minutes. Check, stir and make sure it’s the consistency you like.
While it is cooking cut up your banana***, or any fruit you want to use.
Once oatmeal is ready, move to bowls and top with banana, toasted coconut, peanut butter and chia seeds. Finally add the rest of the orange zest.
You can add anything you would like to the bowl.
If you want to caramelize the banana’s you need to add 1 Tablespoon of unsalted butter and 2 teaspoon of light brown sugar and banana to a skillet and stir for a few minutes till ready.
Other great topping, raspberries, hemp and ground flax seeds.
